Acknowledging the alert prevents all associated actions (e.g. send email etc.) from firing. You can add a note that displays on the alert details page.

Note:

	Don't prompt for alert notes any more
	You can change this setting in the "More" menu on the "All Active Alerts" grid.

	Pause auto-refresh of this page
	Pause actions of all alerts
